I’d like to share something fresh myself right now. It’s probably my favourite smoothie of all time on the taste front, but best of all it’s an excellent accompaniment for all Qsilica fans, with its palpable contribution to lovely skin, hair and nails. I do try to have a healthy smoothie for breakfast every morning, so allow me to share my experiment with you! Grab a pen and jot down my tasty recipe for a smoothie that contains ingredients high in silica, antioxidants and essential fatty acids to assist your skin, hair and nails:

Bananas – high in silica
Blueberries – antioxidants
Ground flaxseeds (a.k.a. linseed) or Linseed, Sunflower and Almond Powder (LSA) – great source of omega-3, amino acids, minerals, vitamins and fibre, and rich in protein
Coconut water for skin hydration and also contains iron, potassium and magnesium
Pineapple for vitamin C


Mix the amounts to suit your taste buds – and enjoy. With a little experimentation you’ll soon have a delicious, healthful, beautifying start to the day on your table top.
